The aims of instruction in a foreign language includes (bu metodikaga qilingan kursh ishiga yozilgan sizda abaliyotku, moslab oling bundoq….) , besides analysis a social life and literary activity of Antony Trollope. Based on the “The Way We Live Now” implementation in English for Specific purposes for speaking class, there were some important conclusions that can be concluded by the researcher. First, the lecturer implemented an analysis “The Way We Live Now” novel.(Gapda tuz etishmayapti, uzingiz tushundingizmi nima deganingizni????) There were analysis of depicting social life in the novel “The Way We Live Now”. The teacher also encouraged the students to comprehend the whole of material. From expert group, the students understood and discussed about their material in their own group(Metodika ucun……). After that, they regrouped into analysis group. They would share the material that they had in expert group(tuz yuq) . They also had to ask and share each other. They had to know their friend’s material. Then the students came back to the first group, expert group. In the last group, the also had to discussed the whole of material that they had. Each person in the group had to spoke up and shared what they had. Then there were also seven supporting factors in analysis implementation. There were media, professional teacher, situation surround the class, material, student’s level of comprehension, student’s motivation, and class management.
Give students experience with small group learning skills before participating in the analyses novel and life Antony Trollope’s.
Have students fill out a graphic organizer in the "home group" to gather all the information presented by each "expert."
"Home groups" can present results to the entire class, or they may participate in some assessment activity.
Circulate to ensure that groups are on task and managing their work well; ask groups to stop and think about how they are checking for everyone's understanding and ensuring that everyone's voice is heard; and
Monitor the comprehension of the group members by asking questions and rephrasing information until it is clear that all group members understand the points. Based on the results and the discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in students’ listening comprehension after being taught learning the story of “The Way We Live Now” technique. It is proved by the increase of students’ mean score in the posttest that is higher than the mean score in the pretest. Therefore, teaching listening skills through the analysis technique is more meaningful for students because the analysis technique can reduce social conflict among school students, promote better learning, improve students’ motivations and interactions, and increase the enjoyment of the learning experience. Effort is the most influential aspect to students’ achievement in learning English successfully with specification in detail; effort gets 354, and the others are persistency with 344, frequency with 340, and goal with 338. It can be concluded that effort has a significant role in improving students’ motivation to learn English. As a result, the teacher should consider how to improve students’ efforts in learning English to become successful learners.
It needs great works and supports from all aspects, both teachers and parents.
Motivation has a significant role in improving students’ achievement, especially in learning listening in English as a foreign language. Learning the novel Antony Trollope about the “The Way We Live Now” technique can help the students to increase their motivation to learn English harder. It implies that a teacher can provide insightful feedback to improve students’ motivation in learning English. As a result, students’ learning motivation and achievement can improve significantly after being taught using the analysis a social life and literary activity of Antony Trollope’s and providing appropriate rewards.
