Note: The Net Income data used here is four times the quarterly (Dec. 2020) data.
In the article Joining The Dark Side: Pirates, Spies and Short Sellers, James Montier reported that In their US sample covering the period 1968-2003, Cooper et al find that firms with low asset growth outperformed firms with high asset growth by an astounding 20% p.a. equally weighted. Even when controlling for market, size and style, low asset growth firms outperformed high asset growth firms by 13% p.a. Therefore a company with fast asset growth may underperform.
Total Assets is linked to total revenue through Asset Turnover.

CONCLUSION:
In general, a liability is an unfulfilled or unpaid duty between one party and another. A financial responsibility is also an obligation in the field of accounting, but it is more characterized by previous business transactions, activities, purchases, exchange of goods or services, or something that will provide economic value at a later date. Non-current liabilities are long-term and current liabilities are short-term (expected to be completed in 12 months or less) (12 months or greater). The legal responsibility of a company or an entity is often referred to as liability. Many companies, for example, purchase liability insurance in the event that a client or employee sues them due to negligence.
Liabilities represent the company’s obligations to others, which must be measurable and their occurrence probable. These obligations stem from a company’s operating activities (accounts payable, unearned revenues, income tax payable, capital leases, etc.) and financing activities (debt).
