ORDINARY SOLDIER
A private is a soldier of the lowest military rank. The military rank of "ordinary soldier" is awarded to citizens who do not have a military rank at the time of conscription or contract military service.

JUNIOR SERGEANT
The military rank of "Junior Sergeant" is awarded to contract servicemen who have completed training courses in relevant programs of educational institutions under the ministries.

Citizens who have graduated from a higher military education institution and obtained a relevant military qualification.

Captain is a military rank of officers in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Major
Major is a senior officer in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other state armies. The rank of Major in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan was introduced on July 3, 1992.
LIEUTENANT COLONEL
Officer’s rank of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Internal Affairs, tax, customs, border and other units.
COLONEL
Officer’s rank. The rank of colonel has been in the Russian army since the 17th century. Introduced in the Soviet Army on September 22, 1935.
MAJOR-GENERAL
A military rank that is part of a general. The rank of Major-general is equated to the military rank of State Counselor of Justice of the 3rd degree in the Justice Service.
LIEUTENANT-GENERAL
A military rank that is part of a general. Equivalent to the military rank of 2nd Class State Counselor of Justice in the Justice Service.
COLONEL-GENERAL
A military rank in the ranks of generals. In practice in a number of countries around the world. Equivalent to the title of State Counselor of Justice, 1st Class in the Justice Service.
Army General
Until 2002, the rank of Marshal was the highest military rank in Uzbekistan. Under the new law, the rank of Marshal was abolished and the Army General was given the highest military rank. This rank (during the war) is awarded to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It has not been handed over to anyone yet.
