INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD dissertation) 
The aim of the research is to study an efficiency and simulation of mineral 
fertilizer rates, developing leaf diagnostics based the optimal nitrogen fertilizer 
doses on winter wheat in conditions of irrigated meadow alluvial soils of the 
Khorezm region. 
The object of the study are irrigated meadow alluvial soils of the Khorezm 
region, winter wheat cv. Krasnodarskaya-99, mineral fertilizers, chlorophyll meter 
SPAD-502, agronomic model CropSyst.
The scientific novelty of the study is as follows: 
optimal rates of mineral fertilizers on winter wheat cv. Krasnodarskaya-99 in 
conditions of irrigated meadow alluvial soils of the Khorezm region were 
determined; 
chlorophyll meter SPAD readings based differentiated doses of N-fertilizer 
for application at tillering and booting stages of winter wheat were developed;
parameterization and verification of the agronomic CropSyst model for 
winter wheat cv. Krasnodarskaya-99 in conditions of irrigated meadow alluvial 
soils of the Khorezm region was completed; 
impact of optimal fertilize rates on available nutrient contents in soil, NPK 
uptake by winter wheat, formation of leaf area, yield components, yields of grain 
and hay as well grain quality was justified.
