ABOUT THE IMAGES OF THE BARBARIAN ART
IN THE EPOCH OF THE GREAT MIGRATION
This article considers with laying out some of the main points in
interpretation of images of birds and animals in the Great Migration
Period art. Ideas of style and iconographic types development raise an
important question of why certain image was especially popular in art
and what that reveals about Great Migration Period peoples in “clas-
sic realm”.
