Objective: to develop writing skills
explain that the pupils will now complete the information 
about Uzbekistan. Draw their attention to the first sentence. Ask 
them to guess the word they are going to write there. elicit some 
answers and summarise saying that there will be “september” 
because the preposition “in” is hinting us about a month. Moreo-
ver, it is known that independence Day is in september. Ask 
the pupils to write “september” at the end of the first sentence. 
explain that they should go on in this manner until they finish 
the activity.
