1. What do you want to be when you grow up? We have heard this 
question many times during our school years. Perhaps, it was difficult 
for us to give a definite answer earlier. But now we understand that the 
time to choose our future profession has come. Finishing school is the 
beginning of an independent life for millions of school-leavers. Many 
roads are open before us: technical schools, colleges and universities. 
Centuries ago there were only a few jobs: people were farmers, bakers, 
butchers or carpenters. Today there are thousands of different kinds of 
jobs, and new ones are constantly appearing. No wonder that it is not 
an easy thing to make the right choice. When choosing a future career, 
we should consider different factors. In my opinion, money is one of 
the most important factors when you make a choice. There are highly 
paid jobs and low-paid jobs. For example, a businessman, a president 
or a film star, are highly paid jobs. A worker, a doctor or an engineer, 
are low-paid jobs. I think everybody wants to earn as much money as 
possible. Training, promotional prospects and conditions should be also 
taken into account. 
2.Finishing school is the beginning of the independent life for 
millions of school leavers. Many roads are open before them: technical 
schools, institutes and universities. But it is not easy thing to choose a 
profession out of more than 2000 existing in the world. Some pupils 
follow the advice of their parents, others can’t decide even after leaving 
school. As for me I have made my choice long ago. I want to become a 
teacher. My choice of this occupation didn’t come as sudden flash.

During my school years, Informatics was my favorite subject. I read a 
lot of books on computer science. I realized that computer technology 
is so important in human life and that we cannot imagine our lives today 
without computer technology. I know that teaching is a unique and 
difficult profession. Teachers only teach their subjects. They develop 
students ’intellects, shape their attitudes and character, their attitudes 
towards life and other people. 
3.It’s a great responsibility. It’s not as easy as it may seem at first. 
But I think that love for children combined with the knowledge I’ll get 
at the Institute would be quite enough to succeed in my work. I study at 
the 3rd stage of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Karshi 
State University. After another year I will start working on my favorite 
profession. I think everything will be as great as I expected. I contribute 
to the development of computer literacy of students to become 
professionals who will benefit our country. On the other hand, it's good 
when you get satisfaction from your job. It is very important to choose 
a profession that suits your interests. In my opinion, a job should be 
interesting and socially important. Some jobs are considered to be more 
suitable for men and others for women. For example, the professions of 
secretary or nurse are more suitable for women. A lifeguard or a pilot 
are more likely the jobs for men. You should also decide whether you 
want to work indoors or outdoors. 
To make the right choice, you should take into account your traits 
of character. It goes without saying that to become a good doctor you 
must be patient, caring and kind. Teacher's work requires love for

children, profound knowledge of subjects, and the ability to explain. A 
secretary has to be efficient and careful in order to do her work quickly 
and accurately. Salespeople need to be friendly and persuasive, to get 
people buy their products. There are so many people who influence us 
in choosing our occupation. Parents and friends play a very important 
role in our choices. 
4. When I close my eyes, I picture myself in a school located in 
an urban setting, teaching a classroom of diverse yet alike students. 
These students are in the second grade, meaning that they are 
impressionable yet vulnerable to their environment whether this means 
at home, at school, or in their greater community. 
* Opportunities for equal educational experiences may not exist, 
however the beauty lies in the growth of love young students can 
develop as they are challenged in the classroom to question their 
surroundings. I plan to make a difference in the lives of the children I 
meet along the way, and to create a safe learning environment. 
*Although the tests for certification and studies can be difficult, my 
passion for education and dedication to shaping the lives of my students 
is what keeps me going. The end goal is to nurture the development of 
my students to become active and engaged participants in society, and 
that is what I intend to do completely. 
5.There are a lot of different trades and professions, and each one 
must choose the occupation in which he or she can best develop one’s

own talent and abilities. Our society needs well-educated people. 
Nowadays the profession of an economist has become one the most 
useful, modern and interesting. That is because our country is moving 
towards market economy and different forms of property are being 
established. There is a place for an economist at every plant and factory. 
An economist exercises different functions. He or she can determine the 
structure of an enterprise and calculate costs as well as probable profits. 
An economist analyses the condition of the market and prospects for its 
development in the future. His or her practical use of electronic 
computers is a must. The activities of an economist at an enterprise 
range from bookkeeper control the financial state of an enterprise and 
perform a lot of useful calculations. A manager is an actual 
administrator. Having a good command of the economic situation in the 
region and the demands of the market a person with an economist’s 
diploma may establish his own business, or he may become a partner 
of a joint venture. It is very important for an economist to know a 
foreign language, especially English. 
In conclusion, whatever the profession, it is based on the teaching 
profession. Only through proper education and upbringing can mature 
people of other professions be trained
