«DIFFICULTIES IN THE STUDY OF TERMINOLOGY
AND NON PHILOLOGICAL STUDENT TERMS»
Annotation
: This article provides feedback on the field of terminology, the
study of non-philological students in the field of terminology.
Keywords:
terminology, terminology, energy, industry, descriptive, language,
system.
Technical and technological necessity and need lead to the development of
science. The development of branches of science, the emergence of new science
networks and directions, undoubtedly leads to the improvement of the existing system
of terms, the emergence of new terms. This, in itself, leads to the emergence of new
problems, issues and tasks in linguistics.
Sometimes a term is used instead of a term. But this is not true. The term
represents a narrower term than the term. The word is Arabic. It is not understood by
the people and has not become the norm. Terminology issues have always been one of
the most pressing issues in linguistics. Because the definition of the place and function
of terms in the lexical layers of the spheres allows to correctly understand the essence
of the concept.
The term logic is a very large part of the vocabulary of any language. Its very
rapid development is also not in vain, as it allows for the creation of new words. The
terminology of a language consists of a system of many terms. A word or phrase in a
particular field of knowledge, industry, or culture is called a term. The meaning of a
word that a term expresses is interpreted by interpreting it in a thematic literature. [1]

557
In all works on terminology, the term is considered to be a unit that defines
certain concepts of a particular field, has a definition, and mainly performs a
nominative function.
The expression can be considered a linguistic term, wrote Z. Harris and IFFrizys.
They are proponents of descriptive linguistics, describing word expression as follows:
"A word expression is any speech of a person that can be expressed before or after
silence." Each department or school of science develops specific terminology to suit
its own nature and methods. Such specialized terminology is an important part of
scientific research and is of paramount importance. Because it makes a great
contribution to development.
The terminology of the field in which the new technical means have penetrated
the most is constantly expanding. One such field is the printing and publishing industry,
which is engaged in today's publishing work. [2]
If we look at the development of this industry, the influx of technical means into
this industry, mainly in the early twentieth century. But its most advanced period is
today. The modern printing and publishing industry has become one of the leading
areas in the use of technical means, combining the processes of preparation and
reproduction of documents, their transformation into books. As a result, many new
concepts and new scientific and technical terms are entering the terminology of this
field.
Philological dictionaries also include dictionaries in various fields. They explain
the terms related to science, technology, a particular field of production. The most
common of the field dictionaries are terminological dictionaries. Such dictionaries will
be monolingual, bilingual, multilingual. Monolingual terminological dictionaries
explain the terms of a language in a particular field. These include OSAhmanova's
"Dictionary of Linguistic Terms" (1966) and DERozental, MATelenkova's
"Spravochnik lingvisticheskix terminov" (1972), H. Hasanov's "Dictionary of
Geographical Terms" (1964). H.Homidiy, Sh.Abdullaeva, S.Ibrahimova's "Dictionary
of Literary Terms" (1967), "Dictionary of Socio-Political Terms" (1976) edited by
Olim Usman.

558
NT Hotamov's "Short Russian-Uzbek Terminological Dictionary of Literary
Criticism" for bilingual terminological dictionaries (1969). Sh. Bayburov and N.
Takanaev's "Short Russian-Uzbek Terminological Dictionary of Pedagogy" (1963).
An example of multilingual terminological dictionaries is AA Askarov's and H.
Zohidov's "Latin-Uzbek-Russian dictionary of normal anatomy" (1964).
Dictionaries of foreign words are also similar to terminological dictionaries. In
this case, too, mainly the words learned from foreign languages are explained.
The type of dictionaries is not limited to the above. There are also thematic,
differential, new words, abbreviations, frequency, rhyme dictionaries. For example, in
thematic dictionaries, words are grouped according to their meanings. Such
dictionaries allow you to find the most convenient words to express an idea. An
example of this is the Roget dictionary based on the English language, the last chapter
XV of the dictionary Kelurnoma (18th century) compiled by Muhammad Yaqub
Chingi.
It is natural that new types of dictionaries will be created in order to meet the
growing needs of the people.
In modern linguistics, work is underway on the creation of a thesaurus dictionary
(Greek thesayros - source) or ideographic dictionary. The Tezauras dictionary covers
all words whose meanings are related to a particular word.
But BNGolovin suggests using the terms “terminology” and “terminological
system” as synonyms denoting a “set of terms related to each other at the conceptual
lexical-semantic, word-formation and grammatical levels” in related areas of
professional activity. It is important to distinguish between the terms "terminology"
and "terminological system", ie a set of terms that are spontaneously grouped under the
term "terminology", and "terminological system" is an adequate system of concepts
describing a particular specialized area of human knowledge or activity. offer an
understanding of a set of regulated terms that represent.
As far as we know, non-philological students face a number of difficulties in
learning terms related to their field. It is important to know the language from which
the term is derived, pronounced, and used, and it is difficult for non-philological

559
students to master the word. In order to use them, they must first know the origin of
the terms.
It is known that many terms in the field of electricity have been used in Russian
for many years due to the fact that they come from Russian and other languages and
do not have appropriate glossaries.
Due to the lack of a single terminological dictionary in the field of electricity,
the development of normative and legal documents and scientific and technical
literature in the Uzbek language has led to different and contradictory opinions.
The situation necessitated the revision of existing normative and legal
documents in Russian in Uzbek or the creation of a Russian-Uzbek and Uzbek-Russian
dictionary of electricity terms before the development of new documents.
In particular, it serves to increase the knowledge and experience of young
professionals working in the energy sector and to increase their attention to the
scientific literature, to address the normative documents and regulations created in the
Uzbek language, as well as important tasks in the field.
It is known that the level of development and improvement of each field of
science is inextricably linked with such indicators as the degree of development of the
terminology of this field, as well as its regulation. Because as long as the term used in
the scientific literature or its form of expression is not clear and obvious, then, of
course, negative situations such as confusion and uncertainty remain. Therefore, as
noted by VPDanilenko, the rate of development of each science or industry is
determined by the fact that the terminology of this field has a " scientific terminology".
VPDanilenko here defines the concept of "scientific terminology" as a combination of
any field terminology with the development of the field of science, the coherence of
industry terminology in the expression of concepts in the field, the compatibility of
created and existing terminology with a particular language of science. implies [4]
The accuracy and clarity of the terms indicate the level of science, education and
culture of this nation. The development and regulation of terms vary in different areas
of science and depend on the development of a particular science. As this development
is continuous, the emergence and regulation of new terms will also be continuous. In

560
general, the careful elaboration and arrangement of terms in the mother tongue is a
necessary resource both for the compilation of textbooks and manuals and for teaching
in the mother tongue. Therefore, the importance of terminology in today's Uzbek
linguistics is improving from year to year. Indeed, the fact that terms are not processed
and regulated also affects the style of speech.
