Minecraft in Education: Finding 
Volume by Adding Layers (5th Grade Technology Integration)
. This 
reviews perimeter and area and introduces how to find volume of a 
rectangular prism using minecraft blocks. The video then poses some 
challenges for the students to build their own prisms using layers of 
different coloured bricks and write a number sentence to express the 
volume.
