Teams are becoming common in the workplace as businesses strive to enhance productivity
and competitiveness. In what ways does teamwork affect organizational productivity?
Explain how you would evaluate the outcomes of the team meeting, in particular the feedback
regarding the issues raised by

What corrective action might you need to take to resolve the issue if the team had not reached a
resolution?

referencing from authoritative sources.
With the above in mind, you will be assessed on:

Your ability to find and use relevant references and data;

The extent to which you use and apply logical, informed and convincing analysis to
management, business, teamwork and communication.

The structure and effectiveness of the arguments used in the written assignment. The
correct sourcing of material consulted and the quality of references used.

Your report may include the following contents:
1. Introduction: 10 marks
Background of the organization with clear and achievable aims in the assignment brief
2. Critical review to identify ways in which teamwork affects organizational productivity. 30
marks
3. Suggest corrective actions to resolve issue if the team had not reached a resolution: 25 marks
4. A coherent and well-argued set of recommendations to provide feedback to team members to
encourage and reward individual and team efforts and contributions: 25 marks
Written presentation and Coherence: 10 marks
The final report should be well written, reflecting accurate proofreading with no grammatical
spelling or typographical errors, as well as adopting a consistent style of writing throughout the
report.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins
on all sides; citations and references.
•
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the students’ name, the
lecturer’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are
not included in the required assignment page length.
