Biogeocenosis — a basic object of research on hiogeocenology. B. - an elementary hiochorological structural unit of vitasphere and in this sense is synonymous to concepts of fades and elementary landscape, though unlike the latter ones, it necessarily includes a living matter. The concept of B. is close to a concept of ecosystem, but the latter is dispossessed of a strict biochorological base.
