Conditions of Maintenance
3.1 
Notification of Deficiencies
As soon as the Licensee has identified faults in the Software, he must notify DIgSILENT of these in writing and 
enclose suitable execution documents. The Licensee shall allow DIgSILENT's personnel free access to his computer 
installations for the purpose of rendering maintenance and technical support services. No charge shall be made for 
this utilization of the Licensee's computer installations. 
3.2 
Notifications of Changes to Licensee's System
The Licensee shall inform DIgSILENT in writing of any modifications to computers, configurations and Operating 
Systems to the extent that they affect execution of the Software maintained under this Agreement, and shall 
apply for approval in writing from DIgSILENT for such changes. 
3.3 
Additional standby, safety and security measures
It is incumbent on the Licensee to provide standby arrangements as well as to implement measures to protect 
stored data against destruction or to secure against unauthorized usage (making of copies etc.).

Acceptance
Immediately following installation of a new, authorized Software version, the Licensee has to run an acceptance 
check. If no deficiencies are notified in accord with Clause 3.1, the Software is deemed to have been accepted and 
the newly-installed version is considered as the currently valid version as stipulated in Subclause 2.1a. 
 
4. 
Limitation of Maintenance and Technical Support Services
The following are excluded from maintenance and technical support: 
a) 
Parts of the Software which have been modified or added to by persons other than DIgSILENT's staff or 
individuals authorized by DIgSILENT, and such parts for which the provision of maintenance services has 
been rendered more difficult by such actions. 
b) 
Software installed on computers and under Operating Systems which due to resetting or the replacement 
of hardware components or parts of the Operating System have been changed with respect to the 
specifications at the time of entering into this Agreement, and for which DIgSILENT has not given their 
approval in writing for the Software concerned. 
c) 
Software products, which do not correspond to the currently valid version as, defined in Subclause 2.1a.
