SUMMARY FOR MASTER`S DISSERTATION

With the rapid development of telecommunications infrastructure and its integration into international networks, the information security of data transmission networks is becoming increasingly important. However, currently there are no methods for quantifying information security in data transmission networks, but there are such methods for other indicators of service quality (reliability, speed, accuracy). The main directions of ITU-T work show that the study of quantitative assessment of information security is a difficult and time-consuming task. The information integrity indicator takes into account the impact of random and intentional threats, unlike traditional information reliability.

In this regard, the urgency of the problem is to analyze the methodology and assess the integrity of the data as an indicator of service quality under the influence of accidental and intentional security threats. The dissertation is devoted to the current problems of research methods that characterize the integrity of data as an indicator of service quality.
