Level:A2 Language focus:integrated skills
Timeframe:45 minutes Objectives:to learn”There is/There are”,to learn the conjuction”but”,to enable pupils to describe the room using”There is/There are”,to enable pupils to use the conjuction”but”,to enrich pupils’ knowledge of English.
Materials:Textbook”New Fly High 5”,pictures,internet,computers,projector,workbook.
Prior knowledge: new words related to pronouns,made a dialogue with “this-that”played”I Spy”.
Contingencies :unfamiliar vocabulary,pupils make a mistake in singular and plural,pupils can’t guess to use “but”in a right way.
