There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
In winter it is very cold in the north and warm in the south. In winter it often snows. Spring is a very pleasant season of the year. The weather is warm, sometimes it rains. Summer is a pleasant season too. It is the time for different kinds of sport. Many people have their vacations in summer.
Autumn is a very beautiful season. The leaves on the trees are red, yellow and brown. It often rains. There are 365 or 366 days in a year. There are twelve months in a year: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. There are four weeks in a month and seven days in a week. The names of a days are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. All the days of the week except Sunday are weekdays. Sunday is the day off. Saturday is the day off for many people too. The parts of the day are: morning, afternoon, evening and night. There are 24 hours in a day, sixty minutes in an hour, sixty seconds in a minute.
