To start:
Before handing out the worksheet, put students in pairs to
brainstorm the names of famous universities in the world as they can.
A.
Students work in pairs. Monitor. Stop the activity. Elicit feedback.
Check pronunciation. (Or you could do this as an open class discussion.)
Answer for Question 1: If the students can’t say name famous universities
in the world, help and remember them: Oxford, Cambridge, Sarbonna. Why
this universities become very famous? Give the reasons. Five or more.
B.
Students can work alone or in pairs for this. Monitor. Stop the
activity. Elicit feedback. Answers with these words: a) book b) freshman

To finish:
Brainstorming: Tell students to turn the worksheet over. Give
them one minute to write down all the topic-related phrases they remember
from this lesson. Then get the students to check with a partner. Who
remembered the most words? Quick open class discussion: Which phrases
are the easiest/most difficult to remember? Why? Are there any similar
expressions in their own languages? Quick quiz: Can the students remember
the word combinations?
