contracting party — a state (states), an international organization (international organizations) and (or) another subject (other subjects) having the right to conclude international treaties acting as an independent party to an international treaty and expressing their consent to be bound by this international agreement regardless of whether it entered into force or not;

authority — the right of one person or several persons to represent the Republic of Uzbekistan, exercised on the basis of a decision of the competent authority (official) of the Republic of Uzbekistan and duly executed by a certificate of authority, handed to the party involved in the negotiations or the depositary with the aim of:

negotiating and adopting the text of an international treaty or establishing its authenticity;

signing an international treaty;

expressing the consent of the Republic of Uzbekistan to be bound by an international treaty;

the commission of another act relating to an international treaty;

state body — the ministry, state committee, as well as another body of the Republic of Uzbekistan, vested with the right to conclude international treaties in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

denunciation — a duly executed refusal of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the international treaty concluded by it and one of the ways to terminate the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

depositary — a state, an international organization or its chief executive officer who, in accordance with the provisions of an international treaty, is deposited with the original of this international treaty and which performs the functions provided for by this international treaty and international law with respect to the international treaty;
