Communications Facility Engineer  

 

•  Provides technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications 

systems infrastructure activities, including planning, designing, and implementing 

communications infrastructure requirements for buildings and systems.   

•  Ensures that adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building 

architects and planners in building communications spaces and media pathways 

meet industry standards.   

 

Communications Installer 

 

•  Assists in the planning, design, and implementation of communications networks. 

Responsible for providing assistance and technical support for network design 

activities.  

•  Assists in the review/assessment of user needs. Performs feasibility studies for 

small projects.  

•  Assists in the evaluation and selection of equipment.
