Declare a user-defined string variable to store text
Remarks
• You cannot declare and define a string variable in the same line of code as you can with an
integer variable.
• It is possible to make string variables persistent.

declare ![]
Declare a user-defined string array to store text strings at specified indices
Remarks
• The maximal size of arrays is 1000000.
• Just like with string variables, the contents of a string array cannot be defined on the same line
as the declaration.
• String arrays cannot be made persistent.
