Soil is the main means of production in agriculture. In order to create favorable conditions for the free growth of crops, the soil is mechanically treated by plowing, chiseling, harrowing, leveling, compaction, and cultivation. The quality of tillage, energy consumption and total costs of tillage depend significantly on the design parameters and condition of the working bodies. Therefore, well-known scientists and companies pay special attention to improving the working environment. Among them the work of academician VP Goryachkin is noteworthy. [1]
Plows play an important role in tillage machines. This is because plowing is important in areas where cotton, wheat and corn are grown. In addition to the important function of plows to loosen the topsoil, plows also reduce weed infestation and plant disease, mechanical weed control, and pest control by burying weed debris and seeds deep into the soil [12, p. 7]. , 18; 16-17-p.]. No other tillage tool similar to plows has been found to perform such tasks in a complex way.
Analyzes have shown that plowing creates a soft soil layer that allows plants to develop freely in the root system, resulting in a consistently high yield from the planted plants. [13]
However, due to the fact that the flat parts of the tillage work in abrasive soil conditions, they are rapidly eroded by changing their initial size and shape. That is why they often have to be replaced and repaired. This is especially true for lemex plugs, as they are the most important, heaviest, and least productive. [11] Today, plowing, one of the most important tillage practices, uses working bodies designed half a century ago. At that time, the plowing speed did not exceed 5 km / h, but today it has increased to 8-10 km / h. If we take into account that the weight of the harvesting machines has increased by up to 4 times, and as a result the soil has become compacted, the load on the working bodies of the driving units has increased by 4 times. These working bodies have remained unchanged in terms of both structure and material over the past period [14, p. 3].
Numerous tests of serial lemex plows on working bodies show that the amount of work to be done, depending on the physical and mechanical properties of the soil, ranges from 5 to 20 hectares for P-702 leachate plows, 10 to 60 hectares for overturning plows, and 20 to 100 hectares for overturning plows. reaches The working bodies of other similar tillage machines also have limited resources: from 8 to 20 hectares for disc harrows, and from 7 to 18 hectares for cultivator shovels [14, p. 3].
From the above, it can be seen that the resources of tillage machines are very low. Therefore, research aimed at increasing the resource of flat parts of tillage machines (especially plug lemexes) is relevant and of great economic importance.
It is known that the friction surfaces of flat parts of agricultural machines work under abrasive conditions. Therefore, it is required that the soil surfaces of these working bodies have a layer resistant to abrasive corrosion. In order for a corrosion-resistant layer to meet the requirements for it, it must be based on its interrelated properties, such as material, chemical composition, hardness, and corrosion resistance.
To increase the wear resistance of the working surface layer, especially in the restoration of wear, it is welded and coated with a material of a certain composition. At the same time, the welding equipment should be distinguished from other methods by such advantages as high productivity, low consumption of welding material, small thermal zone, lack of casting for machining, level of mechanization, good sanitary and hygienic environment. The contact welding machine meets these requirements to some extent (Figure 1).
