Super materials: Graphene is a new material, which
contains only one layer of carbon atoms. It stretches easily, it
has thermal conductivity and it is 200 times harder than steel.
We can use it to make computers and armored equipment. For
example, Zolo Liberty earphones are made from graphene and
they are fully wireless, and a Spanish sports equipment
company called “Catlike” uses graphene to produce cycling
helmets.
4D printers: Both of 3D and 4D do the same task- print
materials or special things- but 4D objects are able to change
their shape under external impact. With 4D printers we can
have a book which could automatically flatten itself for
packing once it was impacted by some stimuli. For example,
water or heat. It will be really useful in future smart grid of
plumbing with pipes.
