THE WAYS OF USING MODERN MATERIALS  IN 

ROBOTICS.

History of robots Since the 19th-century humans started 

building the first robot like systems. By time material since had 

significant  achievements  in  the  understanding  of  material 

behavior.  In  the  1940s  semiconductor  materials,  properties 

were studied. With the development of computers, first robotic 

arms  were  designed  and  used  in  the  industry  for  mass 

production. Since the 80s.  Nowadays robots come in  different 

shapes  and  sizes  and  different  materials  are  used  for  building 

robots.  The  creation  of  high-quality  robots  is  one  of  the  main 

tasks in the field of modern technologies. The important factor 

for  solving  this  task  is  research  and  development  of  materials 

for creating modern robots.
