INFLUENCE OF FEEDING NORMS FOR THE PRODUCTIVITY OF MATURE MELON

Abstract:
Objective. In the conditions of light gray soils of the Namangan region, melon is one of the most widespread melon species. The aim of the research is to identify effective norms of mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of ripe melons, and their effect on the fruit yield, providing the need for this food product.
Methods. The experiment was carried out in light gray soils of Mingbulak district of Namangan region.The object of the experiment was the effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the same consonant rate on the yield of late melon “Qora po’choq”. The amount of phosphorus and potassium for a constant rate was obtained on the basis of scientific literature recommendations of 100 kg P and 50 kg K per hectare. The experiment consisted of 4 options, option 1 was determined as a control, 75 kg per hectare, option 2, the norm adopted on the farm - 100 kg, option 3 - 125 kg, and option 4 - the maximum norm of melon - 150 kg were fed in moderation.
Results. According to the results, the melon yield also increased due to the increase in the norm of nitrogen fertilizers, but the efficiency of the applied fertilizers decreased as the norm increased. An increase in the nitrogen level to 125 kg/ha (3 varieties) led to a maximum yield of 312 s/ha, which is 50 s/ha more than the control.
Conclusion. Based on the results of the analysis, it is advisable to use N125P100K50 kg per hectare in order to obtain high yields of melons and increase the efficiency of applied mineral fertilizers.
