Objectives of the research
: 
study of the theoretical provisions of the institution of international control in 
the doctrine of modern international law as well as international human rights 
treaties, the preparation of relevant proposals for improvement of international 
legal norms; 
identification and analysis of interdependence and development trends of the 
international system for the protection of human rights; 
comprehensive analysis of the legal status of universal mechanisms for the 
protection of human rights within the UN; 
critical analysis of the formation and development of regional human rights 
monitoring bodies established within the OSCE, the Council of Europe, the 
Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of American States, the 
African Union, the League of Arab States; 
study of current trends in the interaction of the United Nations, the regional 
organizations and the national human rights monitoring bodies; 
comparative legal study of the formation and activities of national human 
rights monitoring bodies in Uzbekistan and abroad; 
definition and analysis of current international legal issues of improving the 
legal status and activities of the national human rights monitoring bodies in the 
Republic of Uzbekistan. 
The object of the research 
is the legal relations in the sphere of functioning 
and activity of international and national control bodies on human rights. 
The scientific novelty of the study: 
there were developed proposals to the legislation on the improvement of 
mechanisms for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs regarding the 
expansion of the powers of the Business Ombudsman in the context of the analysis 
of international treaties on human rights; 
the necessity of strengthening the process of coordinating the activities of 
international human rights bodies among them in order to avoid duplication of 
their functions and powers was justified; 
the necessity of establishing the institution of the Ombudsman for the rights 
of children and young people was justified; 
there are developed proposals to the draft Declaration of Human Rights of the 
Organization of Islamic Cooperation on supplementing the right to human rights 
education, petition and access to information, as well as the establishment of 
independent national human rights institutions; 
specific proposals were developed to improve legislation in the field of 
human rights, as well as the legal status and powers of the Authorized Person of the
