The main directions of increasing employment rate in conditions of innovative development 
Abstract. Employment of population leads to decrease of unemployment rate and raise of real 
incomes of population. This requires the stimulation of development of small business and private 
entrepreneurship, development of self-employment, application of non-standard forms employment, 
training and retraining of the unemployed. This article examines these issues and we developed 
recommendations on increasing the level of employment.
