Teaching methodology in schools to be updated
Starting from the new academic year, a total of 6 teachers teaching in schools will be able to increase their salaries by obtaining international certificates. Since last year, internationally certified foreign language teachers have been switched to an incentive system. In the meantime, such practices also apply to teachers in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and information technology.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made this known on Tuesday. The meeting announced the start of a global project to rehabilitate schoolchild students based on a new methodology. Experienced methodologists from abroad will be involved, and in the next 3-4 years, all classroom teachers will be taught on the basis of a new methodology.
We hope that the Soviet style, which is based on the memory of knowledge to a child through a new teaching style, will finally be abandoned. According to advanced experience, a child should be taught to think, not to memorize a thousand different facts in textbooks. Modern learning should encourage a student to think exactly, to develop communication and other "soft skills" in it, thereby cultivating his intellectual and creative abilities.
At the presidential meeting, there was also talk of spiritualists and principals in schools. About 15,000 spirituals are reportedly working in schools across the state, and the president has ordered them to reconsider the requirements imposed. Similarly, new requirements will be imposed on the directors: from September 1, a certification system will be introduced, and candidates for directorship will be selected through this system.
According to the President's mandate, schools will introduce the practice of issuing letters of thanks and gifts to the parents of exemplary students. The meeting also assigned tasks to increase specialized schools, improve school conditions, and provide computers and the Internet.

War and inflation
The war started by Russia is much more valuable to everyone, especially to U.S. citizens. According to the Migration Agency, there has been an increase in the inability of Uzbek migrants in Russia to get their wages on time. Since the beginning of the year, 133,000 migrants have returned to the U.S. from Russia, and 40% of the migrants surveyed by the agency said they want to return to their homeland.

This week, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan published two reports on inflation. It turned out that while official inflation was 10,5%, the perceived level of price increases reached 15,7%. Expectations in the population for price increases have also risen for the first time in the past four months to 15%.
Daily calculations based on official figures show that in the last 1 year, sugar has become 37 percent more expensive in the country and 27 percent more expensive in sunflower oil. Forecasts for the price of fat are not positive, and Russia will introduce a restriction on day-to-day oil exports as of April 15. The U.S., on the other hand, covers 40% of its need for vegetable oil by imports, while two-thirds of imports are attributed to Russia.
Unfortunately, sanctions will not yet be imposed in Russia as long as power remains in the hands of its current owners. That is, even if the war is over, no matter how it ends, sanctions will remain in effect, causing serious problems for countries like us, which are significantly tied to the Russian economy. A plan to reduce inflation by 5% in 2023 may also fail to materialize.
