The aim of the lesson

To give students information about

  • the dangers of media and ways to protect themselves

  • the internet and its types

  • What factors should considered while using social media.

Objectives:

  1. to introduce students with implementation of mass media

  2. to explain the main problems about social media


Outcomes:
Students by the end of the lesson should:

  1. be able to give personal opinion about the topic

  2. can select the items while using mass media

  3. to create their own program

brainstorming, discussion, question-answer work, sample study, different tasks

Introduction

1.1. Teacher asks participants to answer the following questions in groups of three.

  • Have you ever used mass media?Do you know about it? (Brainstorming)

  • How much the lesson is effective when teachers connect their lesson some internet games?

  • Which part of the lesson teaches could implement interesting activities?

  • How teacher explain the instruction? Could you explain any example about social media?

    1. Answering the questions providing necessary examples

2.1. Teacher demonstrates the PPT which the name of it, 5 Steps to Implementing Game-Based Learning in the Classroom. Before starting the PPT demonstration they should warn the first handout based on it.
