Training Ship Administrative Center
The Department of Shipboard Training was established in 1952 and then reorganized as the Training 
Ship Administrative Center in 2003. The Center functions as a sub-agency which trains superior marine 
officers, engineers, and marine police who will work for the development of marine industries through 
shipboard training, education, and research activities. For this purpose, the Center continuously strives 
for the efficient operational management of the university’s training ships.

Institutional Review Board
The Institutional Review Board consists of members appointed by the President. This board considers 
decisions and agreements regarding legal procedures and processes pertaining to, for example, the inspection 
of a b and donors. In addition, it considers safety measures and privacy issues of patients and donors 
such as genetic markers which may be used to identify an individual's name and ID number, especially, 
when the information is provided to others and may be implemented in biotechnology research, development, 
and use
