Abstract
:
Boarding school a significant educational choice for many 
students. Boarding school is so traditional for some countries. Though, over 
the past decades, it lost its popularity. However, boarding school has some 
advantages, there are also serious negative sides related to it. And also,we 
found that by controlling personality,boarding and day students have an 
advantage in motivation,activity,and success.We also found that average 
motivation,participation,and success were not significantly affected by the 
number of boarding schools in the classroom.We concluded that boarding 
schools have academic opportunities and outcomes comparable day 
students.Consequences for students,teachers,and parents which were 
discussed. In this thesis, advantages and disadvantages of boarding are 
analysed.

Introduction. Boarding schools play a very big role in a lot of 
countries.For instance,In Australia,there are approximately 170 schools with 
boarding students,and,470 schools in United Kingdom,and 340 schools in 
North America that educate boarding students.It is very useful for parents to 
educate their children in boarding school.Everything is assured for 
children.For example,quality meal,a quality education,discipline home life 
and magor chances to pursue activities and socialize with other children 
their age and older.Actually,boarding and full-time students study in the 
same classes,they are teached from the same teachers,The Management 
of education create the same instruction and syllabus for boarding students 
and day students.This research agree the result of a study on boarding 
school of China.In China,where family education resources are not evenly 
distributed among families,students from disadvantaged families may not 
achieve the same academic success as their peers,because their parents 
can not provide financial and cultural resources.The 69 million Chinese
