MUSEUM OF “VICTIMS’ MEMORY OF REPRESSION”
According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated November 22, 2017 No 936, "On measures to establish the State Museum of “Victims’ Memory of Repression” and to form it in the structure of regional higher education institutions, on August 15, 2018, the Museum of “Victims’ Memory of Repression” was opened in the structure of Andijan State University by the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 869.
The museum consists of 9 sections: 1. The struggle against the invasion and colonial oppression of the Russian Empire (1865-1917), 2. The introduction of colonial rule in Andijan, the Jadid movement, 3. The Investigation Room. The horrors of the Gulag, 4. The establishment of Soviet power and the national liberation movement against it (1917-1935), 5. Collectivization, listening, exile and their tragic consequences, 6. "The Great Terror" and its tragedies in Andijan (1937-1938) , 7. Repressed in the Cotton Case, Uzbek Case, 8. Repression and Rehabilitation: Legal Documents. List of 1727 repressed people of Andijan, 9. Andijan during the years of independence, socio-economic, cultural and educational, great creative victories.

Only from January 4 to November 7, 2021, the museum was visited by 5,786 people, including 3,573 schoolchildren, 1,792 students, and 421 representatives of other organizations and communities. During this period, the museum's stands and exhibits were updated, information was enriched, many events were held, additional computers, printers and electrical equipment were provided.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated October 8, 2020 No 5598 "On further study of the heritage of victims of repression and immortalization of their memory" On October 29, the governor of Andijan region Sh.Q. A 26-member regional working group chaired by Abdurahmanov was set up to study the legacy of the victims of repression, organize and coordinate the work to perpetuate their memory. According to the decree, in 2021, RT Shamsutdinov, JM Khasanov, EA Tajimirzaev, JT Iminov, DI Khomidov will publish a 94.08 printed, two-part book "Memory of Victims of Repression." Andijan region (1865-1991) ”was published.
Small pamphlets for schoolchildren about the activities and destinies of the repressed Andijan residents: Abdulhamid Sulaymon ugli Cholpon, Yakubjon Isakulov, Kholbotir Duma and his four sons, victims of repression, Usmonkhon Eshonkhodjayev, Akbar Urozaliyev, brothers Khasankhan and Khusankhan Niyaziys, , Haqqul Husanboyev, Zokir Nusratiy, Amirlashkar Alimqul, Abdurahim Yusufzoda were published by “Akademnashr” publishing house in Tashkent.

28-minute TV program, named "Repression policy and its tragic consequences reflected in the Museum of Repression Victims in the structure of Andijan State University" under the heading "New history of New Uzbekistan" prepared by the channel "Uzbekistan 24" in Tashkent was presented on August 24, 2021 and again on August 26, 2021 on republican and Andijan regional television channels with the participation of the rector of ASU, professor A.S.Yuldashev, museum director R.T.Shamsutdinov and museum staff J.Khasanov, J.Iminov, D.Khomidov.
State Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khayriddin Sultanov and Deputy State Adviser D.Kenjayev during a visit to the Museum of Repression Victims of Andijan State University expressed a number of positive comments about the museum and its funds.

At the meeting of Andijan regional activists, H.Sultanov shared his impressions of the museum with the participants of the conference and expressed his gratitude to the organizers, leaders and staff of the museum on behalf of the rector of the university. He stressed that the museum in Andijan should be followed by the staff of museums of victims of repressions in all regions of the country. According to the order of the Presidential Administration N02-PA 1 / 1-281 of 2021 on the model organization of the museum "Memory of the victims of repressions" at Andijan State University from April 30 to May 1, 2021 practical conference was held. The conference was covered by the Republican and Andijan regional television.
