Инфокоммуникационный анализ транзитного потенциала таджикистана

The paper discusses and analyzes the current state and perspective applications of information and communication technologies (ICT) for development (ICTD) in the Republic of Tajikistan with focus on technological trends in the country such as dynamic growth of the ICT market and rapidly growing competition for building telecommunication regional hub of Central Asia. Harnessing these trends advantages might contribute in more effective implementation of the national strategic goals and objectives. Authors suggest an in-depth analysis of unlocking communication landlockedness, one of the three strategic priorities (Экономика 2014), with particular attention to acquiring transit capacity of the country through active applications of the information and communication technologies. While the first set of questions is oriented to dynamic growth of the ICT market and its possible contribution on acquiring transit capacity of the country, the second set explores position of Tajikistan in this process in the context of a range of initiatives for acquiring regional transit capacity of the Central Asia.
