Purpose of the Paper
This paper examines not only the relationship between culture and educational computing, but also the interaction of culture, learning,'and classroom environment as it affects the use of computers in culturally diverse classrooms. I offer specific examples of cultural differences in learning preferences and how educational computing practices may help or hinder academic success. Based on this discussion, I offer suggestions for integrating culture and technology in multicultural teacher education, as well as raise some questions for future study.
