Topic: Minimizing Boolean Functions Using a Karnaugh maps

The procedure for performing an independent work

1. The text of the work is done in MS Word (.doc), font Times New Roman-14, A4 format (handwritten is allowed), full name is saved. and the student's group number.

2. In the title page (department name, topic, group, full name of student and teacher), preparatory part (plan), main part (purpose of work, basic definitions: Karnaugh maps, LAF, DNF), initial data (number according to the option, task items), completed items in accordance with the task, the final part (conclusions, used literature).


Note: The variants are selected according to the sequence number from the group list, attached.

Exercise:
1. Convert the given number according to the option (500 + № p / p) from the decimal number system to the binary number system and make the original table for the resulting variable.
2. For the obtained variables, draw up, fill in the Karnaugh map and select the contours.
3. In accordance with the Karnaugh map, write the logical algebraic function (LAF) in the disjunctive normal form (DNF).
4. Minimize the resulting logical function.
5. Make a block diagram of the LAF in the form of DNF.
