Some people believe that the most enjoyable moment of life is our teenage years, however, others think that adulthood gives us more happiness. While most people regard adolescence the best time in their lives, I would argue that we start to feel the real taste of life in maturity.

There are several reasons why people consider their youth as the happiest moment in their life. First of all, many youngsters do not have any responsibilities for their actions. They completely depend on their parents. All they could choose, the type of clothes they would wear and what games they want to play at weekends. Secondly, they have a lot of freedom at that age. For example, I remember my school times, when I used to spend all day long playing with my friends. At that age I did not have any worries about my future and I tend to live just in the moment. Finally, youngsters do not have to work and pay the bills. Some of them even do not think about how their parents for hard to pay for their studies and take it for granted.
On the other hand, when we became mature we usually begin to recognize the real meaning of life. According to statistics this stage of life begins at the age of 30, when we seriously reflect on delights of life. Most people at that age decide for themselves, whether they believe in God and if so, what they should do in order to live happily in accordance with their principles and religion. What is more, when we step to the mature life, it means that we are independent. Most people work and start to earn so they do not have to ask money from their parents. We could make big purchases by ourselves. We could buy our first car, home and furniture. All these are positive sides of being adult.
In conclusion, despite we fondly remember our childhood, I completely agree that people “start to live” in their middle ages.
