ABSTRACT
:
Currently, there are some branches associating 
with Linguistics and each of them possesses particular 
functions and characteristics. One of them is Comparative 
Typology which is based on comparative method and 
analysis. By this current time there have been many 
assumptions and researches have been conducted. The chief 
reason behind these researches is to analyze specific 
typological feature of particular language in order to 
compare and reveal some identical characters which are 
approximate to another one. This article is targeted at to 
clarify Comparative Typology as a branch of Linguistics and 
provide comprehensive information about types of 
Comparative typology, typological classification, its tasks 
and subsystems as well. Moreover, essential factors of 
typological analysis are illustrated with examples. The 
research was conducted via comparative and descriptive 
methods. The result reflects outcomes of factors of 
typological analysis in two languages, Uzbek and English 
languages.

INTRODUCTION 
The word “typology” has Greek origin and is derived from two words “typos” – form and 
“logos” - study, which means “form study”, in Russian: “отпечаток, форма, образец” and “слово, 
учение”.
Typology
is considered a branch of science, which is typical to all sciences without any 
exception. In this respect, their typological method is not limited to the sphere of one science, and
