Some people believe that using animals for the benefit of
humankind is justifiable. Others believe that exploiting animals is simply
wrong.
What’s your view?
People have different opinions on whether or not exploiting animals
for the benefit of humankind is justifiable. 
However, I am a firm believer
that
using animals is unethical. The following are some of the reasons
why we should not exploit animals for people’s benefit.
To begin with
, some animal-based scientific experiments are
entirely cruel and barbaric. Students, for instance, use animals in school to
conduct experiments during biology class. Sadly, this also teaches students
how to mistreat animals. 
It has
even
 been reported that
some businesses
hire hunters to kill animals illegally for the purpose of conducting
experiments. Killing an animal contributes to the further degradation of the
ecosystem. Unfortunately, humans are destroying the environment by
deliberately killing animals without considering the long-term implications
of their actions.
Secondly,
many experiments on animals are carried out to test
cosmetic products which we do not need. Using innocent animals to test
cosmetics that we do not need is not only unethical and cruel, but it is also
irresponsible. As a society, we need to learn how to respect and preserve
nature.
