How to Agree 100% with One Side
In the example below, we will look at a Type 2 question that only
gives one side of the argument. However, you can use the following
approach for both types of questions, so don’t worry

Example Question:
According to some people, students from all economic backgrounds
should be able to attend university. They believe that the government
should provide free university education for everyone.
 
Do you agree with this view?
In other words…. The above question is asking you:
Do you agree that the government should provide free university for
everyone?
 
You need to decide whether you think that university
education should be paid for by the students (disagree), …or
whether you think it should be paid for by the government
(agree).
Then, give reasons why.
In our example response, we are going to say, “agree.”

About the Planning Process:
1. It’s CRUCIAL to have your paragraph ideas and supporting
reasons planned in note form BEFORE you start writing.
Students who don’t do this, often get confused and have to
rewrite sections of their essays.
