Introduction
This template was used to conduct face-to-face semi-structured interview
for 5 necessity based immigrant entrepreneurs located at 5 different cities
across Korea. The interview took approximately 1 hour with each participant.
The restaurants who were operational for minimum of 3
years were
contacted for the interview. The following questions along with follow up
questioned were asked to bring clarity to the research objectives:

Can you tell me your name and a bit of a background of your
restaurant such as the year you bought it and what motivated you to
get into this business? Please note that
your identity will be kept
anonymous in the research

Do you think your food attracts the customers from a specific ethnic
group or you have diners from various backgrounds including locals?

If you have non-ethnic customers, then
would you agree that they
contributed towards the survival of your business? If not, share the
reasons

The labor that works at your restaurant are the people from your
ethnic group? If yes, why do you prefer to hire them and If No, then
why not?

Do you think co-ethnic labor is integral
to the success of your
