Now let’s talk about your fam ily.

Do you come from  a big or sm all fam ily?

I would say an average-sized family, I guess. T here’s me, mum  and dad, 

of course, and also my little sis’ Jane. Jan e’s twelve years old -  five 

younger than me. She’s the baby of the family and I’m ‘big b rother’.

What do your parents do fo r  a living?

Well, D ad’s an engineer or something. I don’t really understand what 

he does to tell you the truth, but he  says it’s im portant!  Som ething to 

do with building bridges I  think.  As for mum, sh e’s  a doctor -  a GP. 

She has a local practice so just about everyone in town knows her.
