This country’s health system is very good - do you agree?

O ur health system has its flaws, but on the whole I do think th at it is a 

good  system  as  it  provides  everyone  with  free  healthcare.  However, 

the  health  professionals  are  often  completely  overw orked,  with  very 

long  and  stressful  shifts,  and  because  of this  patient  care  can  suffer. 

This is a definite  issue which  needs to be addressed.

What could be done to improve the nation’s health system?

O ne  of the  main  im provem ents  would  be  to  reduce  the waiting  tim e 

for appointm ents - we need a m ore efficient system with m ore doctors 

and  nurses.  This  would  also  improve  the  quality  of the  care  given  to 

patients,  as  doctors  and  nurses would  have  a  m ore  reasonable w ork­

load. The health system  needs to m eet the dem and which exists - and 

the health of the  individual  has to be  the priority.
