Describe an area or a theme you are interested in and wish to research while you are studying at IGSE.
The English language has become the most important language throughout the world, so I feel it's necessary to learn it deep. Also, I was born and live in Uzbekistan, but most of my friends and acquaintances are in South Korea. I chose this Master program because I want to connect with my culture, improve my Korean, and eventually, help establish better relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea by improving social and educational relations. As a Master candidate, I plan to conduct research on how ancient tradition and ritual influence contemporary languages, which will include a literature review and extensive interviews with linguists, historians, politicians, and a small sampling of the Korean population. Also, I consolidate my English through doing internships at educational establishments and teaching the young, school children and students voluntarily.
