In our daily life either student or teacher, somehow, has to write academic writing such as research paper reviews, various types of essays and so forth. In these cases , in order to prevent plagiarism, we should teach how to paraphrase texts. It is difficult to learn to paraphrase someone’s words for any writer, even more for those whose countries do not have the concept of plagiarism, especially non-native speakers.

Majority of the EFT students are fond of studying at US or British Universities even though they have poor academic skills in writing college level papers which involve research. Since paraphrasing and summarizing are significant tools in reading comprehension and writing skills, it is necessary to teach students who do not do academic research. Following ways can be pivotal in teaching of paraphrasing.

1.
