Sometimes it is deliberate behavior, to adjust to a situation. For example, a person’s demeanor may deliberately change when in the presence of a judge or police officer. And it may change again when with familiar friends. Demeanor can be more controlled and deliberate than manner, and definitely ties into conduct at that particular time and place. What is the difference between manner and mannerisms?
