Conclusion In conclusion, it is worth full to tell that “ Uncle Tom’s Cabin” as a novel did not lost its validity and meaningfulness.The main reason of this is the novel is written by woman writer and is blended with sentimental, prominently featured women’s sloppy emotions. Uncle Tom’s Cabin is written in the sentimental and melodramatic style common to 19th century and domestic fiction. These genres were the most popular novels of Stowe’s time and tended to feature female main characters and a writing style which evoked a reader sympathy and emotion. Although , Harriet Beecher Stowe lighted brightly the elements of abolitionism with different approaches , and there are the peculiarities of both Realism and Romanticism but we can be sure that this novel can ultimately comprise definite examples for Realism including anti-slavery elements. According to the analyses and discussions we may conclude, this novel is concerned about sorrowful consequences of slavery being used the elements of Realism. “ Uncle Tom’s Cabin” was written during Abolitionism and it is one of the most astonishing example of that movement. Though, there were some scenes which are shown by emotional description of characters, the novel has not any precise example for Romantic period. That’s why it is mainly included into Realistic novels.
