Detecting the pressure 

Imagine if your touch-screen can detect the pressure of your touch and is able to differentiate 

between a gentle tap and a hard poke. How it works is that there is an internal switch that can 

detect the bend in the touch screen. These readings and the data about the touch can tell you 

exactly where and how hard the screen was pressed

with  multi-touch  feature  can  allow  you  many  possible  ways  of  designing  your  application. 

Though not mainstream yet, research is on-going and maybe widely used in the upcoming years.  

Technology  is  constantly  changing,  and  it  is  best  to  keep  track  of  those  so  that  you  can 

incorporate the latest technology in your application.
