The objectives of the lesson:


Educational:


- Giving information about animals. Explain their importance for people.
-To develop student’s knowledge about the animal world, the ability to work independently and to form views about the role of pets in human life;


Developing:
- to develop student’s knowledge about the animal world, the ability to work independently and to form views about the role of pets in human life;
- to encourage them develop free-speaking aptitudes;


Socio-cultural:

- to urge pupils to keep their personal things clean

- to help pupils reinforce the language of the Welcome unit through unit 2


Learning outcomes:


- the lesson paves the way of cultivating learners’ make-believe and enrich their everyday vocabulary range in a more simplistic way;


Methods of the lesson: direct interactive group work, pair work (individual, teacher-pupil, pupil-teacher, whole class)


Equipments: Guess What! Student’s Book 3, workbook, the DVD of the book, vocabulary illustrated flashcards.
The procedure of the lesson

"Who is speaking?" – 8 minutes

  Explaining the new theme and previewing relevant vocabulary so as to help pupils be able to know the new words during classroom activities.

  Giving feedback on the approach of reading books and consolidate by means of interactive activities.
  

Activity 1: - 10 minutes. School rooms


Objective: teaching the class all types of toys and thing that children have at their home


Material: Handout 1


Teacher: Listen the types of doll and toys and analyse

Activity 2: -15 minutes Time to find!


Objective: - to ask the pupils some questions related to the picture
Teacher: Look at the exercise 2 and find out five missing toys in the second picture
Materials: Handout 2,
Activity 3: 5 minutes songs
Objectives: to sing a song and practice with pronounce
Teacher: give lyrics of the song
Materials: laptop, list of the lyrics of the song


Activity 4-5 minutes

Objective: to teach the pupils to speak about the pictures
Teacher: give the handouts
