The key of health is doing exercises regulary. Medical practitioners recommend that doing daily physical activities is very necessary for all people especially seniors although most of them do not follow the recommendation. This essay will examine the main causes of this mounting circumstance and will give practical measures.
There are a lot of factors contributing to older people's non -existent physical activities. The main reason of this phenomenon is fear of get injury because seniors are weaker than young people and they have not ample tolerance to do physical activities. Because of this they may avoid from it. If older people get injured, it will take monthes, even years to get recovered. In addition, they lose the motivation easily, because they believe nothing could changed after a certain age. This leads to live a sedentary lifestyle and cause some serious problems such as arthritis , high blood pressure and they lose muscle tissues easily.
Academic studies illustrated that 75 percent of old people do not believe that they should do exercises regularly and as a result of that most old aged people have suffered from diseases especially pain on their knees as they lose flexibility while other people who obey the doctor's advice about to do daily exercises can continue an active and healthy life without health problems.
There are numerous viable keys to tackle these issues and to encourage old people to do physical activities. The family can play a significant role in helping them . They should help to overcome their fear of injury and assist to do exercise. Seniors should do easier activities such as yoga and stable cycling at home . Because these exercises do not cause more stress on their muscle tissues. Another option is to encourage them to utilize protective gears like helmet and knee-cap during exercising. Because of this protective equipments they can exercise easily and even they may do household chores such as gardening and sewing clothes. These activities can encourage them and can appear self believing . Moreover they can live more healthy than before without helath problems.
To sum up, disobeying doctors recommendation in terms of doing daily exercises by old people is mainly caused by not being motivated. However there are number of effective remedies to deal with this obstacle like supporting sport facilities which are suitable for them and help of family to overcome their fear.
