Warm up Listen and sing. Objectives:  to warm up; to revise days of the week. 

 

Activity 1 Play “What’s your favourite game?”  

Objectives: to revise games;  

to prepare for the next activity. 

Activity 2 Look, listen and repeat.  

Objectives:  to revise days of the week;  

to introduce the preposition ‘on’. 

STEP 1: Ask the pupils what international words related to  

sport they know. elicit the words: football, basketball, tennis,  

volleyball, handball, etc. 

Activity 3 Write the letters. 15 min 

Objective:  to learn two letters of the alphabet – Qq and Rr;  

to practise writing the letters;  

to consolidate the letters.
