LOCATION: Scottsbluff High School Splash Arena, 313 E 27^th St, Scottsbluff, NE 69361
LIABILITY: In granting this sanction, it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming, Wyoming Swimming Inc., Scotts Bluff Swim Club and the Scottsbluff Splash Arena shall be free from responsibility or liability for injuries sustained by any individual, athlete, or spectator while traveling to and from, or while participating in this meet. Also, the above-mentioned are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property.
FACILITY: Indoor 6 lane, 25 yard pool with non-turbulent lane dividers and backstroke flags. Colorado Timing System including completely automatic timer with touch-pads and electronic scoreboard display for all lanes. This pool has the water depth of 3 feet 3 1/2 inches to 12 feet from both end walls. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with USA Swimming regulations 104.2.2C (4).

RULES: This meet will be pre-seeded as timed finals in all events. Current USA Swimming rules will govern the meet. Any swimmer without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Meet Referee to make arrangements for such supervision.

PROTESTS: Protests of any kind will only be accepted by the Head Referee from the team coach and in accordance with U.S.A. Swimming, Inc. rules and regulations.
ELIGIBILITY: All contestants MUST be currently registered with USA Swimming . No on-deck registration. Clubs will be fined $100 for any swimmer not meeting the current 2011 registration requirement. A registered coach or club representative must sign the USA Registration Compliance form or entries will not be accepted.
AGE GROUPS: Age as of October 28, 2011, shall determine the swimmer’s age group for the meet.

Individual events: *8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15& over.

Relays: *8 &Under, 9-10, 11-12, and Senior . Senior relay members must be 13 or older.

*8 & Under is not a USA Swimming recognized age group.

SCORING: Individual Events: 7-5-4-3-2-1
Swimmers will earn points for events in their respective age groups. Individual events in 13 & Over will be scored in the following age groups: 13-14 and 15-18. Swimmers 19 & Over can swim, but will not be eligible for Age-Group High Point Awards. Points will not transfer to any other age group. The Open 200 Butterfly, 200 Breaststroke, 200 Backstroke, 1000 Freestyle, 1650 Freestyle and 400 IM will be mixed and seeded by time. These will be scored as follows: 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18. The Open 500 Freestyle will be mixed and seeded by time and scored as follows: 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18.
AWARDS: Individual Events: 1st-6th Custom Ribbons

Relay Events: 1st-3rd Custom Ribbons

HIGH POINT: Custom embroidered towels will be provided as High point awards for the top 3 scoring male and female in each age group. Points earned in an age group will not transfer to any other age group for high point.
Coaches may pick up awards at the end of the meet. Final results will be sent to each team within ten days.
ENTRIES: Each swimmer may enter five (5) individual events and one (1) relay per day. Maximum entries for entire meet - 10 individual events and 2 relays.
This is a timed final meet and will be pre-seeded based on entries submitted in yards. When a No Time entry is submitted, the swimmer will be randomly seeded in the slowest heats. Please email entries using the HY-TEK software or a master Entry Sheet. If entries are submitted by email, a hard copy of the entries MUST also be submitted. Email to: [e-mail]

ENTRY LIMIT: Total number of swimmers will be limited to 200, although no team entries will be split.

On deck entries will be at the discretion of the Meet Director.
ENTRY FEE: $4.00 per swimmer per event plus $6.00 Wyoming Participation Fee. $5.00 per relay event. Submit one check, payable to Scotts Bluff Swim Club to cover entries from a single club.
ENTRY: Entries must be in the hands of the Meet Director by Sunday, Oct 21, 2011. Late entries will only DEADLINE be accepted if postmarked on or before Oct 21, 2011.

WARM-UPS:

1: Friday evening: 4:45-5:45 pm Meet starts: 6:00 pm General warm-up - no lanes assigned

2: Saturday: 7:30-8:45am 9:00 am Lane assignments will be posted.

3: Sunday: 7:30-8:45am 9:00 am Lane assignments will be posted.

Warm-ups will be in accordance with U.S.A. Swimming, Inc. rules. NO DIVING DURING GENERAL WARM-UP. Racing starts will be allowed only during the last 10 minutes of the warm-up period. Sprints will be one-way only. Swimmers without a coach will be assigned to a coach by the Referee.
COACHES: A coaches meeting will be held 15 minutes prior to the start of the meet each day in the swim office.
OFFICALS: An officials’ meeting will be held 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet each day in the swim office.
SCRATCHES: Coaches, please present your scratch list to the Meet Referee at the Coaches Meeting.
CLERK OF COURSE: No Clerk of Course.
***400IM, 500, 1000 and 1650 Freestyle will be seeded and swum combined by gender. All heats will be swum fastest to slowest. Counters and timers are to be provided by the swimmers.

CONCESSIONS: There will be a wide variety of food and drink available. Food and drink are NOT allowed in the pool area.
APPAREL: Meet t-shirts will be available with a pre-order. See attached order sheet. Pre orders will be due on October 17.

Also, a wide variety of items will be available at the team stand.

TIMERS: We would really appreciate each team providing two adults to help time events. There will be a TIMERS

MEETING 15 minutes prior to each session.

SAFETY: Safety should be everyone’s number one priority. Pool decks are slippery; please walk. Swimmers and coaches must enter pool area through proper entrances. NO GLASS!!

Scottsbluff Swim Club is fortunate to have the use of such a fine facility for our fall invitational. We can show our gratitude for the generosity of the Scottsbluff Public Schools and City of Scottsbluff by seeing that all trash is disposed of in the proper receptacles. Coaches and parents please police your area before leaving each session. Swimmers please keep locker rooms clean and safe. Thank you for your cooperation and good luck swimmers! Important Note: The Wyoming Swimming Inc Board of Directors shall impose a fine of $100 against a club when a coach or club representative signs a document which indicates that an athlete is registered with USA Swimming for a meet when that athlete is not a properly registered athlete member. Additionally, the WSI Board of Directors shall require a club to pay an amount equal to the current athlete registration fee for each athlete that competes in a USA Swimming sanctioned competition without being a properly registered athlete member.
