About Evolution of Civil Society
Summary
In article the subject of value of a civil society for development of democratic system of governance is discussed; there is shown distinction of terms and an essence of Hellenicis "democracy" and Roman "republic"; affirms, that development of democracies is doomed to crash without a strong civil society . In the given context evolution civil societies from antique slaveholding democracy to modern liberal democracy is considered. The role of Renaissance, Reformation (Protestant revolution) and Enlightenment in its development is described.
On the basis of istoriko-social and cultural comparison of Georgia with an outer world, it is possible to notice, that the civil society is quite natural phenomenon for Georgia though, it be definitive still can, and is not generated
